A pool committee’s primary responsibility is ensuring the safe, sanitary, and enjoyable use of the pool and surrounding areas for residents. This includes overseeing maintenance, implementing and enforcing rules, and addressing concerns. The committee also plays a role in planning for future improvements and upgrades to the pool facilities.

Please ensure that you have had fun, the umbrellas are closed, and you have not left garbage behind when you leave the pool.

Pool Rules
This is a private pool for the exclusive use of residents and their guests. Residents and guests use these facilities and swim at their own risk.

Announcements for Pool
- No Food or Drinks in the pool.
- Commercial bottled water is allowed on the 4-foot wet deck.
- Only drink from containers with a lid in the fenced-in pool area.
- Cameras are installed. Anyone gaining access to the pool when it's closed will lose pool access and could pay a fine.
- Pool Equipment is being inspected for life maintenance concerns
- The electrician is scheduled to come out and look at putting lights on a timer. They are currently on 24/7
- Pavers around the pool deck are being repaired
- Pool House roof is being inspected for leaks
- Wood accessories will be stained
- Pool Furniture is being repaired. Do not put pool furniture in the pool.
- Do not swing on the handrail at the steps. This could cause the foundation of the pool to crack.
How to gain access to the pool:
- Pay your HOA Fees
- Fill out the “Pool Access” Form
- You should get an email from the management company with your account information
- Download the Pool Security app https://www.brivo.com/products/mobile-management/
- You will use the app or the fob to gain access to the pool
Formed fecal incidents pose a risk for spreading germs, including moderately chlorine-tolerant Giardia.
- Contact the Pool Committee or Board if feces is found in the pool.

PUBLIC SWIMMING POOLS AND BATHING PLACES
(4) Food, beverages, glass containers, and animals are regulated as follows:
(a) Food and beverages are prohibited in the pool and on the wet deck area, except:
- Commercially bottled water in plastic bottles is allowed on the pool wet deck for pool patron hydration.
- Food and beverages served in accordance with subsection (5) below.
(b) All glass containers and products are prohibited in the fenced pool area or within 50 feet of an unfenced pool, except: Glass bottles of liquor used only by bartenders in a permitted swim-up bar.
(c) Animals, other than service animals, are prohibited in the fenced pool area or within 50 feet of an unfenced pool. However, individuals with a disability and service animal trainers may be accompanied by a service animal, as defined in Section 413.08, F.S., but the service animal is not allowed to enter the pool water or onto the drained area of an interactive water feature (IWF) in order to prevent a direct threat to the health of pool patrons.
(5) Swim-up bars are permitted as provided in this subsection.
Florida Building Code 454.1.2.3.5 – The following rules in BOLD will be posted at or near the poolside and will be legible from the pool deck in minimum 1-inch letters:
- NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES IN THE POOL OR ON POOL WET DECK. COMMERCIALLY BOTTLED WATER IN PLASTIC BOTTLES IS ALLOWED ON THE POOL WET DECK FOR POOL PATRONS’ HYDRATION.
- NO GLASS OR ANIMALS IN THE FENCED POOL AREA.
- BATHING LOAD: __34_ PERSONS. (No more than 34 people in the fenced-in area)
- POOL HOURS: Dawn TO Dusk (DAWN TO DUSK is approved for pool hours if the pool is not certified for night usage)
- SHOWER BEFORE ENTERING.
- DO NOT SWALLOW THE POOL WATER. (This statement shall be added to signs at pools that conduct alterations as that term is defined)
A separate sign for:
“NO DIVING”, in 4-inch lettering
“POOL MAXIMUM DEPTH: ___ FEET,” in 2-inch (51 mm) letters shall be added to all pool rules by January 1, 2022.
Florida Building Code 454.1 Definitions “Wet deck area” means the 4-foot-wide (1219 mm) unobstructed pool deck area around the outside of the pool water perimeter, curb, ladders, handrails, diving boards, diving towers, or pool slides, waterfalls, water features.
Pool Committee Charter
- PURPOSE. The overall purpose of the Pool Committee is to monitor the quality of the pool, pool pavilion to include restrooms, pool furniture, and recommend improvements to the Board of Directors.
- GOALS:
- To provide a safe, sanitary, and enjoyable pool
- To improve the physical conditions of the pool and its environs within the fenced area
- MEMBERSHIP. The committee shall consist of three or more members representing the community and a chair, all being appointed by the Board of Directors. The committee is encouraged to make recommendations to the board. The committee may invite friends of the committee to volunteer, to assist, and advise the committee on special projects.
- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintenance
- Monitor the pool usage, maintenance and equipment of the pool
- Monitor the pool area for hazards, broken or damaged equipment or fixtures
- Monitor the pool area to keep clear of debris and trash (other than normal day to day)
- Offer solutions to resolve any issues that may arise regarding pool usage
- Review the pool rules and regulations annually
- Present recommendations for changes to the Board of Directors for consideration
- Maintain the pool furniture in acceptable condition to be used by residents
- Secure pool furniture during major storms
- Monitor contract work budgeted for the year
- Weather Proofing
- Test the pool water daily
- Securing umbrellas prior to major storms
- Supplies and Equipment
- Budget for pool repairs, furniture, and pavilion supplies in accordance with the reserve study
- MEETINGS:
- The pool committee shall meet once a quater unless project dictates more.
- The pool committee shall conduct a minimum of one (1) meeting during the six (6) months of October through March.
- The committee will brief talking points on the 3rd Thursday of every month to the HOA board
- REPORTS. A quarterly status report should be submitted to the board on projects, maintenance, and costs
- BUDGET. The committee shall adhere to a budget, as approved by the Board of Directors. Prepare an annual budget request when requested by the Treasurer
