We cater to residents with a passion for gardening, offering opportunities to learn from each other, share knowledge, and participate in gardening-related activities.

Purpose:   Offer opportunities for members to learn new gardening techniques, share knowledge about plants, and improve their gardening skills.

Goals:  Foster a community of gardening enthusiasts, promote knowledge and appreciation of gardening, and contribute to environmental stewardship and community beautification.

Community Engagement:
  • The garden club may organize events that involve the wider community, such as plant swaps, garden tours, or educational exhibits.
  • Garden clubs offer a platform for learning about various aspects of gardening, such as propagation techniques, pest and disease management, seasonal planting guides, and more.

The USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map is the standard by which gardeners and growers can determine which perennial plants are most likely to thrive at a location. The map is based on the average annual extreme minimum winter temperature, displayed as 10-degree F zones and 5-degree F half zones.
